How to budget for your next holiday

Greetings to you all, it’s that time of the year, everyone is bursting with new ideas and ofcourse, holiday destinations.

It’s always a good idea to plan ahead so you know roughly how much you will need to spend for your holiday. It’s also a good idea to know whether any currency conversion will impact your budget, therefore keep track of any currency rate changes.

First things first, once you know what destination you want to go to and how long you plan to stay there, check the ideal season and pricing. Season & pricing go hand in hand.

Budget : so here is a tip on how to budget for a holiday, it’s always a good idea to plan ahead. On this template I’ve done it on a 6 month basis but you can also do it on a shorter or longer period depending on your circumstances.

So for a holiday of a week or more you’ll need to put aside a bit more .

For a weekend break away it would be cheaper however always make sure you have extra money for any excursions, drinks, food & shopping.

*Note the more you put aside the quicker you can raise ore for your holiday over a shorter period. See example below:

Week 1 £20
Week 2 £20
Week 3 £20
Week 4 / Month 1 £20
Total Monthly £80
Repeat over 6 months £480
Monthly Budget Plan

Bon Voyage my darlings !
